Bruce Woner

Bruce has practiced law privately since 1979. His practice is diverse and he routinely leads clients and their supporting professionals in achieving strategic goals, by way of acquisition or sale, litigation or negotiation. Counseling banks, bankers and bank boards, defending banks in litigation entanglements and guiding banks and bankers in their relationship with regulators are where Bruce's primary efforts are expended. Besides Banking, Bankruptcy, Business and Commercial Law and Litigation, Bruce also helps many clients with wills, trusts and business planning needs.

Bruce is a member of the Board of Directors of Central of Kansas, Inc. and the Board of Directors of Central National Bank. Over 100 banks and financial institutions have been assisted across the years by Bruce and his practice colleagues.

Bruce's family homesteaded in Cowley County, Kansas in 1870; he graduated from high school in Hutchinson; achieved his undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas; and earned his law degree from Washburn University.


Bruce and his family have been active in Topeka First United Methodist Church, scouting, the Topeka Round-Up Club and youth sports across the years.
